Murray Contractors was selected for a design–build renovation of the Ward Tower 7E wing. This patient wing is a specialty patient floor for organ transplant patients. The project is a 20,000 SF area consisting of complete finishes renovation (epoxy flooring, painting, acoustical ceilings, doors, etc.), lighting re–design and replacement, and mechanical systems replacement/upgrades. The project was completed using a Fast Track delivery process in under 12 weeks which was ahead of the initial schedule. Significant coordination was required for patient relocation during the projects, surrounding spaces for work hours, and with numerous UAMS Teams to make this project successful. This was truly a team approach between Murray Contractors and the UAMS teams.
