This project is a standout example of adaptive reuse and comprehensive renovation, transforming a building with decades of history into a modern, purpose-built headquarters for Arkansas Virtual Academy. Previously operating as a furniture store and warehouse for multiple businesses over its lifetime, the structure has now been reimagined to support contemporary educational administration and staff operations.

The 2.5-story, 47,000+ sq. ft. facility underwent a full renovation that included significant interior reconfiguration, updated building systems, and modern finishes to accommodate the school’s unique programmatic needs. The design prioritized flexible workspace layouts, collaborative areas, and improved circulation while preserving the integrity of the building’s existing framework.

By converting an aging commercial property into a functional, forward-looking headquarters, the project showcases how strategic renovation can extend the life of a building, reduce environmental impact, and deliver long-term value to the community.
