UAMS selected Murray Contractors through the JOC contract to construct Parking Technology Upgrades in conjunction with the equipment supplier, NextGen. This is a campus-wide project to upgrade the parking lot and deck pay systems. All new gates and pay stations will be tied back into the main campus network for continuous monitoring. The project includes a large variety of scopes to include; site concrete and asphalt demolition and replacement, electrical work, site furnishing, parking equipment, and much more. A great majority of the work will take place after hours and weekends to limit the distribution and lost revenue of parking spaces.
